Job Opportunity: Business Development and Internal Support Intern

Over the past year, The Natural Step Canada has been examining our internal organizational structure to improve efficiency in program development and delivery. Reporting to the Director of Operations and Development, the Business Development and Internal Support Intern will help to expand The Natural Step Canada’s business development efforts, map internal systems to identify areas of inefficiency, and support the office administrative and finance team with administrative tasks.

• Salary: $15.47 per hour

This position is made possible through a grant from Service Canada’s Career Focus Program, as part of their Youth Employment Strategy. To participate in Career Focus, youth must be:

• Between the ages of 15 and 30 (inclusive) at the time of intake/selection;
• Post-secondary graduates;
• Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or persons on whom refugee protection has been conferred;
• Out of school;
• Legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations; and
• Not in receipt of Employment Insurance (EI) benefits.
