Kick Off Event for Organizational Dynamics' Sustainable Development Concentration, Philadelphia, USA
On November 13 and 14, the new Organizational Dynamics academic concentration, Sustainable Development, will be officially launched.
President of the University, Dr. Amy Gutmann, accompanied by Jerome Peribere, President and CEO of The Dow Chemical Company Advanced Materials will give opening remarks.
On Friday, November 13th, 5:00-6:30 p.m., a panel discussion will be held on the topic "Eco-Municipalities: What Does a Sustainable City Look Like?" The panel includes special guest, Dr. David Cook, Chief Executive, The Natural Step International; Neil Hawkins, Vice President, Sustainability, Environment, Health and Safety, Dow Chemical; Anne Papageorge, Vice President, Facilities and Real Estate Services, University of Pennsylvania; and Katherine Gajewski, Director of Sustainability, City of Philadelphia.
On Saturday, November 14th, 9:00 a.m -12 noon., a workshop will be held in the Terrace Room, Claudia Cohen Hall. This time will be used for round table discussions and setting goals and actions steps on a range of sustainable development initiatives.
