Dr. Robèrt honored as an Ashoka Senior Fellow

Our founder, Dr. Karl-Henrik Robèrt, was recently elected as one of Sweden’s first two Ashoka Fellows - leading social entrepreneurs with innovative solutions to social problems and the potential to change patterns across society.

“In launching The Natural Step, he has facilitated the outgrowth of a unifying framework for strategic sustainable development, and built a global institutional platform that unites with a coalition of universities, companies, industrial groups, municipalities and larger government entities to pioneer new ways to achieve a world that is socially and ecologically sustainable”.

This accolade is a personal testament to Karl-Henrik and is acknowledgement of the role The Natural Step is taking – along with all our collaborators - in the transition to a sustainable future.
