David Cook, Chief Executive of The Natural Step, to Address European Union Parliament

On January 8th, 2009 David Cook will address the European Union Parliament in Brussels on the subject of sustainability as a catalyst for innovation. David’s message will be that we have no alternative to setting sustainable development as the overall context for all serious innovation.

We are currently at a cross-roads with unprecedented global problems with the largest crunches that we've ever faced: a credit crunch, a climate crunch and an economic crunch - we need to recognize their inter-relations to get oursleves out of this mess.  David will explain how sustainability-based innovation is our greatest opportunity forward out of the adversity that we are facing.
