Join us for a one day, interactive workshop to explore leading research and practice in creating a culture of sustainability in municipal organizations (Toronto, Vancouver, and Ottawa)

The Natural Step Canada has been working with Dr. Stephanie Bertels of Simon Fraser University and municipalities from across the country to produce a new sustainability resource for municipal leaders: Embedding Sustainability into the Culture of Municipal Government. Our aim is to provide practical guidance for municipal practitioners and organizations, based on leading research, to support a culture of sustainability in municipalities across the country. Based on this report, we are offering a series of 1-day workshops across Canada for those who wish to add this resource to their sustainability tool belt. This workshop is tailored for municipal staff and professionals who are leading strategic planning and sustainability efforts in the municipal context, as well as all municipal staff who wish to support the shift toward a culture of sustainability. Participants will learn how to apply the tools outlined in our final report to help their municipal government embed sustainability into their culture and move the organization toward sustainability.
