Annie Hoy, Outreach & Owners Services Manager for Ashland Food Co-op will discuss how they applied The Natural Step Framework to their operations. She will share the experience of their visioning process and implementation progress, as well as how they've overcome challenges along the way - challenges like securing staff buy-in and encourging project managers to report consistently.
Natalie Reitman-White is Sustainability Manager for Organically Grown Company, and the Executive Director of the Food Trade Sustainability Leadership Association. Natalie will focus her comments on where the concept of sustainable food systems is headed, and how the FTSLA is challenging already good companies to make a deeper commitment to sustainability than ever before.
