Japan’s adaptive ecology
Members of TNS Japan are helping Tohoku University to establish a post-graduate Research and Education program in Ecosystem Adaptability. The Center for Ecosystem Management was established in 2008 as one of four such Global Centers of Excellence (GCOE) awarded by Japan's Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology
The Center plans to introduce The Natural Step Framework to its program participants and will utilize TNS eLearning platforms in its curriculum. The program will begin in April with its first class of 34 students. Noriko Takemoto, a TNSJ board member, will participate in the program as a Professor and Senior Business Adviser.
