Mardi Neumann
Mardi is Managing Director of Eco Me that specialises in educating businesses to be more efficient and resilient using sustainable practices. She has worked within the public, private and not-for-profit sectors, gaining over 15 years experience in educating for sustainable development. Since moving to New Zealand from Australia in 2000, Mardi has completed her Master of Environmental Education from Griffith University - Brisbane and worked with organisations such as YHA New Zealand and Destination Lake Taupo. In 2007, she worked with Forum for the Future in the UK supporting their staff and Business Partners with advice and resources as their TNS Manager and was seconded to Carillion Construction to work on a successful £410 million redevelopment hospital bid project as Sustainability Lead. Additionally, Mardi is the TNS New Zealand Transformative Board Chairman and a Non-Executive Director for the Nucrush Group in Australia. In the past, she has worked with a variety of NGOs including the Sustainable Business Network South Island Board (Board Member) and the NZ Association for Environmental Education (Christchurch Branch Chair).
