Canada/International: Website/Graphics Intern, closing date: January 5th, 2009
The Natural Step is looking for an individual who uses design to communicate and inspire people towards sustainability. This position will involve completing and implementing The Natural Step’s brand manual, creating materials (reports, report templates) to match this new visual brand, working with emerging communications tools (YouTube, Flickr’, Facebook, etc) to implement a consistent look and feel for The Natural Step.
A significant component of this position will include user and content management for our new website: www.thenaturalstep.org. This will involve liaising with and helping international users load their content, format images, trouble-shoot problems, etc. There will also be the opportunity for the intern to participate in communications strategy sessions to determine how The Natural Step will work on our messaging and specific campaigns in the coming year.

Sweden/International: Regional development/Research and advisory services, fulltime position, closing date: January 23th, 2009, starting date: 9th February 2009
The Natural Step International is looking for an individual who has been working with sustainable development at the Local Government or regional level. The individual should have experience working with community engagement strategies, facilitation and dialogues methodologies, be familiar with application of sustainability frameworks and integrated sustainability planning. The ability to communicate and facilitate in multi-stakeholder workshops, Research, Analytical and Reporting are important skill for this position.
