This course draws upon 20 years of experience and result in coaching sustainability champions who are leading their organizations toward sustainability. It is an intensive 2-day practical course designed to build understanding of how to transform your organization’s approach to sustainability in order to achieve strategic advantages and long-term leadership in your industry and/or community. Participants of this course will gain the knowledge and skills to understand, apply and communicate a compelling science based systems approach to sustainability, based on The Natural Step Framework. This course will focus in particular on the ability to present the core concepts of The Natural Step Framework with confidence.
As a shoulder program in conjunction with the Gaining Ground conference, The Natural Step Canada will be facilitating a Sustainability Governance and Organizational Change workshop on October 5 at 2:00pm, along with our partners from the Whistler Centre for Sustainability.
This webinar will introduce professionals in the meetings industry to a proven strategic sustainability planning method. The presentation will describe the core components of the Natural Step Framework: Systems thinking, Sustainability Principles and backcasting methodology. You’ll learn how these components are used to coordinate actions and continuously move your organization closer to achieving its vision. Participants will see an example, have the opportunity to ask questions and learn about additional resources available to their organizations.

The Natural Step Canada is thrilled to be hosting our founder, Dr. Karl-Henrik Robèrt for a week of activities in and around the Toronto area October 18-21. About Waterlution
The 7th Annual Northeast Campus Sustainability Consortium (NECSC) Conference: Sustainability and Global Citizenship Education will be held at McGill University. This year, as we reach the midpoint of the UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development, we reflect and share our experiences, successes, and lessons learned on the theme of Sustainability and Global Citizenship Education.
