Scott Grierson

Scott Grierson is a sustainable development, strategic marketing and consulting professional with a breadth of operational and research experience. He has worked across a broad range of industries and has strong skills in presentation, workshop design, project management and
facilitation.

Scott has a professional affiliation with the International Sustainable Development Research Society (ISDRS) and is currently Chair of The Natural Step Australia, where he is engaged with a number of sustainability advisory, research and education projects to both private and public sector clients. He designed and lectured an intensive program entitled ‘Introduction to Sustainable Engineering’ at Kunming University of Science and Technology, China and delivered this online to over 180 students in 12 countries around the world over a 3 year period. He continues to be involved in sustainability related education, research and capacity building.

Scott is currently completing a PhD on a part-time basis at Macquarie University’s Graduate School of the Environment, with a focus on life cycle innovation in the industrial cultivation of aquatic microalgae with implications for the energy, water and agricultural sectors.
